Managers with role separation
Delegate cash collection and reminders without giving up control of your money.
What it does
Most PGs have a manager who lives onsite, collects cash, and chases overdue tenants. PG Saathi lets you grant them a clearly-scoped subset of the bot. They can record cash payments (`cash A1 8000`), send reminders (`remind all`), check balances and report on the day. They cannot change your UPI ID, delete data, or accept new staff.
Invitations go through WhatsApp. You add a manager from the dashboard or with `add manager` — they receive a templated message, accept, and immediately have access to their assigned PG. No email, no app install.
Every action a manager takes is logged in the audit table with their user ID and timestamp. If a payment is disputed, you can see exactly which staff member recorded it.
On WhatsApp
- Owner: `add manager Mehul +91 98...`
- Manager (after accepting): `cash B2 7500`, `remind all`.
- Owner: `list managers` to see who's active.
On the dashboard
/managers — invite, pause, or remove staff. Pending invitations appear at the top.
Why it matters
The number-one fear of paperless PG owners is `what if the manager runs off with the cash?`. With every collection tied to a manager ID and an immutable audit trail, accountability is built in without daily supervision.
